Thanksgiving is now over for me, after three dinners in three days, I'm pretty damn sick of Turkey. But I've had a blast over the past three days, spending the time with my lady and what not. Really great times.

The time at my parent's house was the best, I love my family so much. They are awesome people to be around, and it's always some kind of emotional high when I'm there. My little sisters are fucking awesome. Too bad Faith failed her driving test. I promised not to laugh. I lied. :-)

I'm sitting at my girlfriends house now, drinking a Taddy Porter. It's good. I also went to the mall today, and we looked at rings, I bought two shirts (one of them a pink button up) and a bracelet, to add to my growing collection of bracelets. If you feel like giving me something for Christmas, that's what I want.

I don't have much else to say now. When I finish these beers, I may post again, as that should be fairly funny.

Added a few new things to the site tonight. First, is the archiving of posts at the bottom. That's something that's sorta been done for a while, but not accessible to the public, and not really that great either. So yeah, that's that.

Also, added a link script where I'll be posting random links I come across throughout the days. So yeah, check those out from time to time. I'll be doing something where the past links are all archived by category.

I love site design. I love information tracking. I hate Spanish, and school.

So I continue to add new colors and styles to the site. I'm digging style sheets, and think my next redesign will have to do with the positioning aspects that CSS can handle. Stylesheets are a powerful little tool, and I think they could make my skills a bit better....

Soon, I'll have something up where style can be changed on the fly... that should be nice..

I get so much done at work.

So as I look at these new colors, and new layout, I realize that I think it's quite fruity. What in the fuck was I thinking anyways? Oh well, it passed 3 hours at work. That's something there.

I'm not. Oh well though.

My fifth anniversary with Marissa is this weekend. I can't believe we've made it that far. I'll admit, it hasn't been easy alot of the time, but we've worked it out. It means alot to me to be with her, and that she has stuck with me all this time. I'm happy that we're still together, and I hope that we will be for good. I can't imagine being with someone else. It would be really too weird and uncomfortable.

I got a box at work now. P3 1Ghz, running Debian with Gnome. Gnome looks really tight the way I have it set up. Sure, you may think it's gay, but it's inspired both by my bracelet, and the fabulous Thomas Pink shirts. I named it Pink, the layout is Pink, etc. Really classy looking. I love setting up a new machine. Now my windows box at work has been relegated to running IRC. And playing Quake 2. It's almost too much for a P4 2.4ghz to do.

My attitude about work has totally changed now. My new job is such that I feel important, like my skills are actually valued. No offense to the bosses upstairs, as I think most of them are great people, but the morale up there stinks, and you have to look to those in charge when something like that is happening. I still talk to quite a few techs from upstairs, both old and new, and I hear the same things, about how the call volume is shitty, and the pay is bad. In the industry, as a whole, the pay is not great there, especially for the amount of responsibility that those techs have to deal with. If it was just internet, fine, I can see the wages being justified, but if you add residential and business phone service as well as the sales requirements, it's alot to handle, esepcially for those that are doing it as a part time job to pay their way through school. It's quite stressful at times, and I'm happy to be in a different department, but I still feel bad for those that are there, and hope that things change. I'll always be for the working man, the lowly, mistreated ones. Big corporations suck.

Well, after that, I should go study now. School is becoming more and more burdensome as it goes on, and I'm doing pretty bad. I've got alot on my mind these days.

My new job is so great. What a great experience this will be.

I love Marissa to death. Forever, I'll always love her. No doubts about that.

I feel great right now, enjoying myself, not dreading anything impending. Gonna get some boxes hooked up at work so I can do work on those now instead of windows. I have no reason to ever use windows again, once I get my digicamera working in Linux. That's my last stopping block.
