Today, I wrote a script that mounts the ipod, parses out RSS information, makes a text file for each site, then copies it to the ipod, and unmounts the ipod.

Well, after receiving something that made it necessary to get USB working on my Linux box, I figured I'd do it, and it was actually quite easy. Since the device I was trying to use was a FAT32 formatted device, I ran:

fdisk -l

which displayed all the connected FAT* filesystems connected. I then found which device this item was on, and mounted it accordingly. Am now able to access it just fine. Rock Rock! In addition to getting that working, I also got my camera working. However, hotplug does NOT seem to want to do anything, but I guess that's ok, I can reboot when I need to use these devices. As a matter of fact, I very rarely reboot anyways, so as long as I boot with them plugged in, I can use them after unplugging them and plugging them back in later. Rock!

I'm thinking of doing RSS feeds of friend's blogs here, but I really would only be doing it because of boredom. *lol* Oh well, we'll see if it gets done today when I get to work.

So I finally got this little color change on the fly thing working. Thanks to Shelby for finding that little piece of info. Woot! Implementing it site wide, however, will be a problem I think. But I'll get to that if i can.

The server was down for a while. Thankfully, it's back up now, with the help of Justin (well, mostly all Justin's work, he seems to be a genius).

That's all I got right now. Semester is over, I'm looking to get alot of work done on this and/or other sites, as I'll have lots of free time.

It's almost time for finals. Wahoo. How awful is that? I am ready to be done with this semester though, and start fresh in the next one...

This Neva Dinova album is fucking great.... I love the way their singer sings... they were really great live, too, I'll remember them from that show much more then I'll remember The Good Life (as the Good Life was amazing in Chicago, they really can't top that)

Life is amazingly good right now.. I don't wanna get to deep into it, but it's pretty damn nice and happy and exciting for me right now..

That's all I got.. these postings seem to have less and less of a point with every one that I make.... thankfully, I'm an angel....

I'd like to drink every night. To be totally inhibitionless, every night of my life. I like drinking, I like getting rowdy and obnoxious. It's almost as if I miss home, miss Grand Rapids, and Luke and Bass.. those motherfuckers know EXACTLY what I'm talking about here.. they get it.. they get the music, the angry, rowdy, break everything in site enjoyment of life....
