I got Make Believe, Weezer's new album yesterday, and I'm REALLY digging it. I made the statement that you have to look at Weezer as two bands... pre-Pinkerton and post-Pinkerton... but now I'm not so sure about that... this may just be something where I'm really digging the new album too much, but I'm not sure... I am really enjoying This is Such a Pity, Peace, The Other Way and Hold Me of all the songs on the album... track list is as follows:

Snakes on a Plane is a new movie coming out from Newline Cinema. It is written by some dudes with massive cred. One of the writers only previous work in film was a website for a movie. One wrote the screenplay for the movie Eddie starring Whoopie Goldberg. Yeah, this should be good.

Oh yeah, it stars Samuel L. Jackson as well. I can just see some sample dialog from that master thespian:

"THERE ARE SNAKES ON THIS PLANE, MOTHERFUCKER!"

Me and Potterj were working on modifying Torrentflux today, and got one nice little thing done on it. However, I have a bunch more ideas for it, which may incorporate RSS'ing a site by parsing out the data on that page. Should be interesting to see if I can actually get anything done on it tonight. I almost wish I wasn't leaving work, as I'm sure I'll lose my motivation.

However, I'm getting out early due to coming in early. I'me excited. Tigers game and beer tonight, Cokedick Motorcycle Awesome tomorrow, and then, YES, Wedding Classes!!! YAY!!!!

So I guess that the cops got a little surly down in EL this past weekend with the tear gas... Shelby got gassed, and also had his picture taken with two cops in riot gear... all for doing NOTHING... man, I understand they were worried about some shit going down, due to past events, but come on.... gassing a group of five kids walking down the street is not preventing a riot...

I had to go to a wedding class... needless to say, it was pretty damn awful... and my girl has the gall to ask me why I looked like I was mad the entire time I was there... HA!

Shelby did a stylesheet (though half assed), it's #4 on the styleswitcher... I'm gonna have to fix it up.. other than the spacing issues on the right side, it looks alright, though...

I need a real job in the Detroit area... got one? Let me know!

Out for now... this week is shitty already... so much work to do... and so little motivation.
